The Azman Group of Companies has expanded its petroleum retail operations in the Federal Capital Territory with the commissioning of a new Azman Filling Station at the Nyanya Checkpoint/Mopol Junction in Abuja.
The new facility, commissioned on Monday, September 28, 2026, is strategically positioned to provide petroleum products and other essential services to motorists, residents and businesses in Nyanya and neighbouring satellite communities.
The commissioning marks another phase in the expansion of Azman Group’s retail network and its efforts to strengthen its presence in Abuja, particularly in densely populated areas where demand for petroleum products and other consumer services remains high.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Executive Vice President of Azman Group of Companies, Mustapha Abdumanaf Yunusa, expressed the company’s delight at opening the new facility and welcoming customers and patrons to the station.
Yunusa described Azman Group as a household name in Nigeria, saying the company had built a reputation over the years around quality products, customer acceptance and trust.
He said the newly commissioned filling station was designed to offer more than petroleum retail services, explaining that the facility also accommodates other businesses whose operators have rented shops within the station.
According to him, the arrangement is intended to provide members of the public with access to commodities and everyday services while patronising the filling station.

“Azman Group as a whole is a household name in Nigeria, and we are known for quality, and we are known also for acceptance,” Yunusa said.
He urged residents, motorists and other customers within Nyanya and surrounding communities to patronise the new facility, as well as the businesses operating within the premises.
The Azman executive said the company had maintained its presence in the Nigerian business environment for nearly four decades, stressing that the brand had earned the confidence of customers through sustained operations and service delivery.
“It’s a business that has been open for the best part of 40 years, and it’s a trusted brand, a trusted name,” he said.
Yunusa noted that the opening of the Nyanya facility represented another opportunity for the company to deepen its relationship with its existing customer base while extending its services to more residents and motorists.
He expressed confidence that the new station would become a valuable addition to the Nyanya community, particularly given its location at the Nyanya Checkpoint/Mopol Junction, a strategic corridor connecting Abuja with surrounding satellite communities.
The facility is expected to provide motorists with easier access to petroleum products while also creating opportunities for commercial activities through the shops and other businesses operating within the station.
The expansion also reflects the continued diversification of Azman Group’s business interests and its efforts to bring its services closer to customers in different parts of the country.

Yunusa called for continued patronage and support from customers, assuring that the company remained committed to maintaining the trust and confidence it had built over the years.
He said the company would continue to focus on quality and customer satisfaction as it expands its operations and strengthens its relationship with communities across the country.
The newly commissioned Azman Filling Station is located at the Nyanya Checkpoint/Mopol Junction in Abuja and is expected to serve residents, motorists, commuters and businesses in Nyanya and adjoining satellite communities.
The commissioning ceremony brought together representatives of the company, customers, business operators and other stakeholders, marking the formal commencement of operations at the new facility.
