The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, has joined the President in performing the lesser Hajj, known as Umrah, in the holy city of Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Masari’s participation in the spiritual exercise alongside President Tinubu and other members of the presidential entourage underscores the religious significance of the visit, which provided an opportunity for prayers, reflection, devotion and supplication.
The Umrah, one of the important acts of worship in Islam, involves a series of sacred rites performed by Muslims in Makkah. Unlike the annual Hajj pilgrimage, Umrah can be undertaken at any time of the year.

Photographs from the spiritual exercise showed Masari alongside the President as they participated in the religious observance in the holy city.
The exercise also offered the opportunity for the presidential entourage to seek divine guidance, blessings, peace and continued progress for Nigeria.
Masari, who serves as one of the President’s key political aides, has remained part of the administration’s political engagement and coordination structure.
The spiritual visit comes amid prayers for national peace, unity, stability and prosperity, as well as divine wisdom and guidance for the nation’s leadership.
Muslims regard the performance of Umrah as a deeply significant act of devotion, involving the renewal of faith, humility, repentance and submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
Prayers have also been offered for the acceptance of the worship performed by President Tinubu, Masari and other members of the delegation, with the hope that Almighty Allah will grant them abundant blessings and answer their supplications.
May Almighty Allah accept their acts of worship and grant Nigeria peace, unity and prosperity. Ameen.
