Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, has joined family members, political associates, dignitaries and hundreds of well-wishers to celebrate the wedding of Dr. Stephanie Ebidenere Diri and her husband, Mr. Ballad Tamaradoubra Agbeyei.
The wedding ceremony, held at the Royal House of Grace International in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, brought together members of the Diri and Agbeyei families, friends, associates and other distinguished guests who gathered to witness the couple exchange marital vows and begin a new chapter of their lives together.
Senator Katung attended the ceremony alongside his wife and Hon. Dan Amos, member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
In his goodwill message, Senator Katung described the occasion as a beautiful celebration of love, family, faith and unity, noting that the marriage of Dr. Stephanie and Mr. Agbeyei was a significant milestone not only for the couple but also for both families.
According to him, marriage remains one of God’s greatest institutions, founded on love, patience, commitment, mutual understanding and shared purpose.
He said witnessing two young people embark on the journey of matrimony surrounded by the prayers, blessings and goodwill of their families and community was a source of joy and inspiration.

“May your home be a home of peace, laughter, and God’s abiding grace. May your love grow stronger with each sunrise, and may you be a source of blessing and light to each other, to your families, and to everyone around you,” he prayed.
Katung further urged the couple to build their marriage on enduring values of love, respect, patience, sacrifice and commitment, stressing that these qualities remain essential to nurturing a strong and lasting family.
He also extended his congratulations to the Diri and Agbeyei families, describing the wedding as a moment that demonstrated the enduring importance of family and community in building a peaceful and hopeful society.
The senator noted that occasions such as the wedding serve as reminders that love continues to triumph and that families remain a vital foundation of society.

Senator Katung also congratulated the families of Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State and the Agbeyei family for the successful wedding ceremony, wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness and fulfilment.
