Engr. Agabat Ikwue has described the Kwararafa Development Forum as a welcome development, saying the coming together of people under the platform would create opportunities for greater development and progress.
Ikwue stated this while speaking at the Kwararafa Development Forum, held under the theme, “The Splendour of the Confederacy: Ancient Truth and the New Dawn.”
He expressed delight at being part of the gathering, stressing that the most important objective should be the pursuit of development and the collective advancement of the people.
According to him, the initiative represents an opportunity for people to unite, share ideas and work together towards addressing challenges confronting their communities.
He said, “This is a welcome development coming at this time around. I am very proud to be here because what we need is development.”
Ikwue further expressed optimism that the idea behind the forum would provide a platform for greater cooperation and collective action, noting that progress would be easier to achieve when people come together with a common purpose.
He said he believed that the initiative would help foster unity and create a stronger foundation for sustainable development.
“I believe with this idea of coming together, we will move forward,” he said.
The engineer’s remarks formed part of discussions at the Kwararafa Development Forum, which brought together stakeholders to reflect on the historical heritage of the Kwararafa Confederacy and explore ways of translating shared values and identity into a new phase of development.
